The Beginning

Founded in 1990 by brothers Gordon and Glenn Gronkowski, G&G Fitness began with a simple mission: to provide premium-quality fitness equipment to athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and commercial gyms. What started as a family business quickly grew into one of the nation’s premier fitness retailers.

By 1997, G&G expanded into Rochester and Syracuse, NY. Growth continued throughout the 2000s, with new stores in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Akron, and the acquisition of The Fitness Store in 2006. This expansion created a 15-store chain with over 80 employees, making G&G Fitness the largest and most experienced fitness equipment dealer in the region. Most recently, a new retail store opened in Indianapolis (2021), followed by the launch of a full-service department in 2022.
